Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 May 2026

This page explains the cookies we use on yaraintelligence.com and how to control them. We use as few cookies as possible — no third-party advertising trackers, no behavioural retargeting.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are used to make websites work, remember preferences, and measure usage.

Cookies we use

  • yi_session — Maintains session state during your visit. Duration: Session. Type: Strictly necessary.
  • yi_consent — Remembers your cookie preferences. Duration: 12 months. Type: Strictly necessary.
  • _plausible — Privacy-friendly analytics (no personal identifiers). Duration: 30 days. Type: Analytics.

How to control cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies, including on a per-site basis. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.

For analytics specifically, we use Plausible, which does not use personal identifiers and is GDPR-friendly by default. You can opt out by adding plausible.io to your browser's tracking protection list.

Changes

If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for a reasonable period.
